GRRRRRRR

I am really grumpy today.  I don't know why, and really there is no reason. In fact, I googled pictures for grumpy and the name of this file was "little miss grumpy" and then the actual file clearly says, "Mr. Grumpy." WTF? This is how my day has gone today.

I wish I wasn't feeling so surly. Because, seriously, I have a job, two wonderful dogs, two (!) places to live, and a car that works. Plus, I just ate leftover Carrabas for dinner. AND I left work early today. Score, right? Right??

I really could use a big, huge bowl of ice cream. Maybe I'll go to the store....

Seriously??

Fill your tank AND your belly

So for my first post, I thought I'd give you guys a little idea of what it's like living here in Beaumont. (I realize that the three of you reading this blog also are my Facebook friends and have already seen this photo, but ... whatevs)

If you look closely at the photo above, you will see not only that this Exxon is a great place to stop for gas, but it's also a fantastic spot to grab a quick bite. And it's not just your typical gas station egg roll or hot dog. No, here in Beaumont we've got the Exxon catfish basket for just $3.89. Not sure what grosses me out the most. Eating catfish at the gas station or the fact that it costs only $3.89.

Maybe I'll try to convince TH to try this spot for lunch when she gets back in town next week.
